"What a great place for fresh made sandwiches. Very reasonable price for filling meal. Very close to the train station away from the tourist area. This is a small deli and convience store with great prices. A better lunch at half the price than you find in the tourist places."

"Very friendly shop selling freshly made sandwiches €3-5 along with soft drinks+ beer/wine/spirits and other items. Located opposite the train station ideal for taking a sandwich etc on a day trip to Pompeii/Herculaneum/beach trip. Speak very good English super helpful, even opened a bottle of wine for us as we didn't have a corkscrew and we could just pull out the remaining bit at the hotel etc. As you can see we ate our sandwiches at Pompeii and Herculaneum"

"Nearly a year has passed since I had the pleasure of stopping at this establishment, and never since has a discussion regarding cuisine ended without recalling our visits to Salumeria Aprea. Carlo, an extremely personable and authentic proprietor, has curated the quintessential sandwich from artisan breads, cured meats, eggplant remoulade, and various local offerings that seeks to provide a superior lunch, yet for this palate, set the bar for delicatessens worldwide. I cannot stress enough how much I loved these sandwiches. Just go already!"
